Trait shop

The trait shop lets holders spend VECTOR (or pay) to add and swap traits on the NFTs they own. It turns a static PFP into something a holder keeps coming back to personalize — and a recurring reason to stay engaged after mint.

Setting up

In studio → Shop, add traits with a slot (e.g. Headwear, Eyewear, Clothes), a price (in VECTOR or fiat/crypto), and supply. Holders open the shop from their hub, pick an owned NFT, preview the trait composited on it, and confirm.

Good practice

  • Start with earnable traits. A few traits holders can only earn with VECTOR give the points real weight.
  • Keep slots consistent. One trait per slot keeps composites clean and predictable.
  • Season it. Rotate limited traits to create moments without diluting the base set.

Note

The trait shop is most valuable once a collection has minted out and holders are settled — it's the retention layer, not the launch layer.
